Cohort 24
Ada Core is an 11-month program teaching full-stack web development. Learn how to code, advocate for yourself in the industry, and cultivate your community in tech.
Please read the following overview carefully for more information about Cohort 24 (C24).
Eligibility
- You must be an adult (21 years of age or more), living in the United States for the full duration of the program, and have permanent work authorization at the time that you apply and throughout the full duration of the program. DACA recipients are eligible to apply to the program.
- We require that students complete a background check as part of enrolling in the program as part of the internship assignment process.
- The classroom portion is virtual, and we require that students have a MacBook (check the FAQ for the required specifications) and a reliable workspace with internet access. A limited number of laptops are available to borrow during the classroom portion if obtaining one would be a barrier to your participation.
Application
You will be asked to submit…
Contact information, including optional demographic information
A current resume (CV)
Written responses to 3 questions (about ~300 words each)
Desired internship modality (remote or in-person) and internship locations

Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received. Applicants will be moved through the Admissions process throughout the open window. Our goal for the cohort is to admit up to 50 students; final admittance numbers will be confirmed at the end of June based on the number of internship seats secured.
Please note that we anticipate very, very few Remote internships. Currently (as of February), we have confirmed internships in Seattle, WA and Nashville, TN. We will provide a final update on the number of internships available and their locations in June.

Classroom Experience (9/2/2025 - 2/20/2026)
The classroom portion will be virtual and feature both self-guided portions and direct instruction. We anticipate approximately 40-60 hours to be required between class time, optional elements like office hours, and self-guided independent/group work. Applicants can review the Student Handbook here to learn about the attendance, grading, and other classroom policies.
Interview Week (1/12/2026 - 1/16/2026)
Students must attend and pass Interview Week to receive an internship assignment. Please do not schedule any travel or appointments during this week.
Internship Experience (2/23/2026 - 7/24/2026)
Upon successful completion of the classroom experience, students are assigned an internship with one of our Corporate Partners. Over the course of 5 months, they join a supportive team of software development professionals to build technical, communication, and problem-solving skills in a real-world production environment, learn about the diverse day-to-day experiences of tech workers, and prepare for their career after Ada.
While in internship, Adies receive a stipend to offset living expenses during the 5 months of Internship ($15,400 total, pre-tax, issued monthly).
